Viera Christian Church is an independent congregatin founded on the teachings of Christ in the New Testament. We have no denominational ties or affiliations. "We are Christians only, but we are not the only Christians." The congregation is governed by a board of four (4) elders who are elected by the congregation based upon the qualifications set forth in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

When and where do we meet?
Our Church currently has its Sunday meetings in the chapel of the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, off Murrell Road just north of the intersection with Viera Boulevard. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30am for Bible School and at 10:30 for Worship service. On Sunday evening we meet at 7:00pm for Bible study. We also have weekday prayer and Bible study meetings at various times and locations for our mutual encouragement.
Our worship service consists of celebrating the Lord's Supper, preaching from the Bible, fellowship in offerings, prayers and Scripture readings, and singing hymns and spiritual songs accompanied by musical instruments.

Evangelism
Our mission is to reach the Viera and surrounding areas with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to make the message of God's Word relevant and alive in the lives of Christians and those who are searching for truth in today's world.
FINANCES
Each month the congregation is presented a complete financial report by our treasurer. A general financial report shows our income and expenditures on a weekly basis along with a monthly recap. When we began the Church we also began a building fund to purchase property and to build a building for the Lord. A separate report is also provided showing our progress towards the completion of that project.
